Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Keeping the safety feature in mind, Maruti Suzuki is now including special safety features in its vehicles. The company is preparing to introduce the highly demanding crossover model Frontx Advance with Driver Assist System (ADAS) technology. In the pictures shared of this car, the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Frontx has been seen with radar based ADAS sensor system. In preparation for bringing a new version of this car, it has been seen during testing on Indian roads. This technology is available in the car in the form of a V-shaped quadrilateral module camera. Together, this camera will also keep an eye on the vehicles and pedestrians coming in front of the car. The carmaker will also offer ADAS in the upcoming eVX.
ADAS technology is not available in Maruti car
The leading vehicle manufacturer in India has not yet included vehicles equipped with ADAS technology in its portfolio. This feature will be introduced in the company’s first electric car eVX. At the same time, this technology will be included in the Fronts facelift to be launched in 2025 next year. ADAS is not included in any model of Maruti, including the rebadged models of Toyota. Due to this, the vehicles do not get better ratings in crash tests. Maruti provides only 6 airbags for safety in its portfolio.
What will be the Frontex powertrain like?
Talking about the powertrain options that will be included in the Fox facelift, according to the report, a 1.2-liter strong hybrid engine can also be given in the upcoming Fox facelift. Apart from this, ADAS technology is also available in it and the front parking sensor is also available in the test mule of Fox. This model is not available in India yet. The current Indian model is equipped with a 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine.
