MG Windsor EV: Equipped with many state-of-the-art features, MG Motors’ upcoming Windsor EV is coming soon to create a stir in the Indian market. Recently, information about the features of this electric crossover has been revealed. Select dealers have also started taking unofficial bookings for MG Windsor EV. It will make its place as the third electric car in MG company’s Indian line up. According to the information received, it will be launched in the Indian market on September 11. The car manufacturer has released a teaser of MG Windsor based on Wuling Cloud EV and shared information related to many features.
Windsor Designs
It has been claimed about the MG Windsor EV that the car will come with the largest sunroof in the segment. This sunroof is fixed glass and cannot be opened like other sunroofs. The upcoming MG Windsor EV will be presented in an aerodynamic design with a shiny MG logo, which will have features like LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, LED tail lamps. Many features like flush door-handles, 18-inch alloy wheels, printed antenna, auto wiper and rear defogger have been included in this EV.
Windsor Features
MG’s upcoming SUV Windsor will get safety features like cruise control, electronic parking brake with auto hold, electronic stability control, TPMS, hill start assist, 6 airbags, 360-degree camera and disc brakes in the rear wheels. The electric car features 256-color adjustable ambient lighting to give passengers a better driving experience. The carmaker has recently released a teaser and shared information about features like the largest 15.6-inch infotainment touchscreen in the segment.
Along with this, there will be an 8.8-inch digital driver display. Talking about the interior, the cabin will have a soft-touch dashboard with wooden accents, seats with comfortable cushioning, rear seat that reclines up to 135 degrees, 6-way power driver seat and split-folding rear seats. The car will have features like power mirrors with power folding and rear parcel tray, front and rear armrests, auto AC with rear AC vent, all power windows. Apart from this, there will be a facility of wireless phone charger, steering-mounted controls, key-less start and entry along with subwoofer in the boot.
MG Windsor Battery Pack
In the global market, the MG Windsor is offered in some markets with a 37.9kWh battery pack option, which is capable of giving a range of 360 km. This EV gets a 50.6kWh battery pack, which will be connected to a single-motor. This setup produces 136ps of power and 200Nm of torque. This EV has been launched in the Indonesian market with a range capacity of 460 km.
MG Windsor Price
In the Indian market, MG Windsor can be launched for sale at an ex-showroom price of Rs 20 lakh. The most special thing about this EV is that it has included a battery heating function to enhance better range capability in cold climate.
