New Jawa 42 Bike: Due to the increasing number of road accidents, two wheeler manufacturers are now including more and more safety features in their bikes. In this series, two wheeler maker company Jawa-Yezdi is preparing to launch a feature loaded bike. According to the information that has come out, this bike can be launched in the Indian market on 3 September. At the same time, the updated Jawa 42 has been launched earlier this month. A teaser released recently by the company confirms that the new bike to be launched can be a new version of the existing Jawa 42.

The upcoming Jawa bike is expected to get many major updates in the design details of the new Jawa 42 along with new color options in the style. Its biggest feature is that a bigger engine can be included in this new Jawa bike to provide better mileage.

In terms of safety features, the new version of Jawa is expected to include dual-channel ABS and upcoming alloy wheels with spoke wheels and digital LCD instrument console, round LED headlight with position lamp, LED units for taillight and turn indicators, teardrop-shaped fuel tank and curved rear fender etc. To support this neo-retro look and bigger engine, preparations are in full swing to introduce the bike with a new look and vegetable design.
New Jawa 42 Powertrain
Yazdi’s new Jawa 42 features a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch for transmission. This bike can be introduced in the Indian market with a 334cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC single-cylinder engine. This engine is capable of generating 22.5ps of power and 28.1Nm of torque in the Jawa 350.

The expected ex-showroom price of the new Jawa 42 is expected to be between Rs 1.9 lakh and Rs 2.2 lakh in the Indian market. Where this bike will compete with other vehicles in its segment including Royal Enfield DS Hunter 350 and Honda H’ness CB350.
