Lakhimpur kheri:The New Life Hospital located on Gola Road was exposed by a heartbreaking incident. While the family was expecting a little bitterness during the pain of childbirth, the doctor took out the woman’s uterus with the birth. The family was stunned by this amazing incident and the matter reached DM Durga Shakti Nagpal directly.
As soon as he understood the seriousness of the case, DM came into action and immediately instructed Dr. Santosh Gupta to take strict action on the hospital. The CMO entrusted the responsibility of investigation to the Superintendent of Fardhan CHC. When the superintendent reached the spot, the hospital was found locked in the lock. During inspection it was found that this hospital is not registered. Was being operated completely illegally. Not delaying, the administration sealed this illegal hospital on August 27.
But the action did not stop here. The DM ordered to register an FIR in relevant sections on the application of the affected family. Following the order, the police filed a case against the hospital operator. The administrative strictly stirred private hospitals in the entire district.
No messing with patients’ lives: DM
DM Durga Shakti Nagpal said that playing with the lives of patients will not be tolerated under any circumstances. The matter was serious, so the CMO was instructed to take strict action immediately. The hospital was inspected and if found illegally operated, it has been sealed. Also, an FIR has been lodged against the concerned hospital operator on the tahrir of the affected family. Investigation is on and strict action will be ensured against the culprits.
Case will be tightened at illegal hospitals, two -member teams formed in 16 areas
On the instructions of DM Durga Shakti Nagpal, the Health Department has come into action mode to crack down on illegal hospitals operating in the district and nursing homes and clinics without registration. CMO Dr. Santosh Gupta has formed two -member committees in 16 areas of the district to dispose of pending cases under the Clinical Stabilization Act and to ensure action on illegal institutions.
These committees have been nominated as Additional Chief Medical Officer or Deputy Chief Medical Officer, while the Superintendent of the Community Health Center of the concerned area will be members. Teams have been directed to provide a joint inspection within a week and provide a report related to registration/renewal. The CMO has said that illegal hospitals will not be spared under any circumstances. Strict action will be taken as per rules on institutions without registration or rules. He also instructed all CHC superintendents to provide active cooperation in this campaign.
