Lucknow today news: Ratna Dance Academy in the capital organized Teej The Green Magic Fest on Monday on the occasion of Hartalika Teej. The mascot and logo of the academy were also launched in this program organized in Vinay Khand in Gomti Nagar. The mascot depicts the dancer wearing a colorful Indian costume, which reflects the dance art of the academy.
The chief guest of the program was the art conservator of the academy, Shubhra Asthana, who appreciated the contribution of the academy and emphasized the need for the promotion of art. On this occasion, the theme of the academy will be seen in the theme song Ratna Academy, a new aura will be seen in every woman, let your dreams wings, take the magic of dance at every step, but Pavani Asthana performed a passionate dance, which mesmerized everyone.
Academy’s dedication and expansion
Ratna Dance Academy has made its mark across the country including Lucknow in the art of dance for the last twenty years. In the academy, not only young, but older women are also participating in ecclesiastical, folk and film dances. The academy has performed on major forums like Lucknow Festival, UP Festival, Raj Bhavan, and National Book Fair.
In the event, the Academy’s participant, Seth MR Jaipuria School topped the competition and another participant also won a commendable place in the competition of Lulu Mall. Along with this, many students are now running their own training centers, which further inspires the success of the academy.
Various dance performances in Teej festival
The participants who participated in the teej festival captivated everyone with their dance performances. Shashi Verma, who is in the sixties of the age, performed a brilliant dance on “Apna Piya Ki Main To Bani Re Jogania”, which was appreciated by the audience. Apart from this, participants like Rashmi Gupta, Neelam Gupta, Babita Sahu, and Aarti Mishra also performed a beautiful dance on various songs.
