Second-Gen Skoda Kodiaq Launched: Skoda Auto has finally launched the second generation of Kodiak in India. This flagship SUV is available in two variants, entry-level sportsline is priced at Rs 46.89 lakh and range-topping Lauren and Clement (L&K) variant is priced at Rs 48.69 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). Launched globally for the first time in October 2023, the SUV made his debut in India at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo. The size of this SUV has become larger than before and some new features have also been added compared to its previous model.

The latest Kodiak is built on the MQB Evo platform of the Woakeswagen Group. Now its length is 4,758 mm – which is 61 mm more than its previous model – while there has been no change in width, wheelbase (2,791 mm). The outer part is re-designed, including a sleaker look, a new split quad-headlite arrangement with LED matrix technology and updated 2D logo of Skoda. The Signature Butterfly Grill is now slightly larger, with a horizontal light strip in the L&K variants.

Such is the design of the car

In terms of styling, the sportsline variants have several external sports black-out treatment, while the L&K version provides chrome accent. Both variants come with 18-inch alloy wheels, L&K sets include aerodynamic trim. Rear bumper designs are different. Checked patterns for sports and cleaner design for L&K, but both have C-shaped rapowound LED tail lamps with ‘Skoda’ badging in between. Color options are also variant-specific. L&K Bronx Gold, Velvet Red, Graphite Gray and Moon are available in white metallic finish. At the same time, Sportline Race is available in Blue, Steel Gray and Magic Black.
