Pune’s electric vehicle startup company Vayve Mobility has launched the country’s first solar car. The company has launched its first solar car at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. It is available at a starting price of Rs 3.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Booking for the solar powered car has started at a token amount of Rs 5,000. However, deliveries of EVA will begin in 2026.

According to the company, the Wave is offering the Eva in three battery pack options: 9 kWh, 12 kWh, and 18 kWh, priced up to Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in three variants: Nova, Stella and Vega. This car, which is less than three meters, will travel about 250 km on one charge. The company has claimed that the car will travel a kilometer in 80 paise. Along with this, panoramic sunroof has been provided. Solar panel has been installed in the sunroof itself. Along with this, car play system for Android and Apple is also provided in the car. Electric power steering, whose turning radius is 3.9 m. A single seat was given in the front of the car and a wide seat was given in the rear. Three people can sit. At the same time, this car will be charted in 45 minutes. The first 25,000 customers will get additional features like extended battery warranty.
