Volkswagen tiguan r-line launched: Volkswagen India has launched the new Tiguan R-line in India for Rs 49 lakh (early, ex-showroom). Tiguan R-Line, after launching globally in 2023, is the first variant of Tiguan, the new generation in India. The new model comes through the CBU route in India and it is quite expensive than that SUV, which was the previous price of Rs 38.17 lakh (ex-showroom). Volkswagen India has said that the delivery of the SUV will begin from 23 April.

Talking about the looks, the new Tiguan follows the latest design instructions of VW with a more attractive and streamlined design than its previous model. Notable design elements include an attached grill surrounded by sleek projector headlamps, a major air dam on the front bumper, sharp -looking alloy wheels and a connected tailmpion on the back side. Buyers have Persimon Red, Knightshed Blue, Grenadilla Black, Onix White Mother of Pearl, Cipperino Green and Oyster Silver Color to choose from.

The cabin also reveals the recent VW minimalist design template that appears switchgear and dominates a large free-standing 15.1-inch central touchscreen on the dashboard. Notable design elements include a large strip of gloss black plastic on dashboard and doors that have patterning and back lighting. The touchscreen is the nerve center for in-car control, while the traditional gear has been transported in the steering column, the new Tiguan features an in-milk controller with an in-built touch display with an in-built touch display between seats with the engine stop/start and switch for electronic parking brakes.
