New Delhi. Reliance Jio and Airtel have launched 5G. Vodafone is preparing for this. Meanwhile, big news has come from the Modi government. This news will make the hearts of mobile phone users happy. According to the central government, now the government company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited ie BSNL has also moved towards launching 5G. BSNL will launch 5G after launching 4G mobile service across the country early next year. According to government sources, the rates of BSNL will be such that private mobile service companies will need to keep their rates very competitive.
In the Modi government, Communications Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had told in the past that BSNL will launch 5G by next year. Now it has come to know that instructions have been given to complete this work by the middle of next year i.e. by August 15. BSNL has been asked to launch 5G service simultaneously across the country. BSNL has reach to villages. It has more than 170000 towers across the country. According to government sources, in such a situation, the company is not going to face any problem in launching 5G from everywhere.
It has also been learned that the spectrum decided by the government to be given to BSNL for the launch of 5G, the company has also demanded to increase it further. This increase can be done by the government for spectrum bands ranging from 600 MHz to more MHz. BSNL lagged far behind private companies in launching 4G, but the Modi government is going to take all possible steps to ensure that they do not lag behind in launching 5G and can also provide world-class service. The government has already given a deadline of 2024 to the officers and employees of BSNL to perform.
