Housewives say that the prices of essential food items and vegetables continue to increase after March. There has been a huge increase in the prices of potato, onion, tomato, coriander, chilli, ginger, bottle gourd, ridge gourd, bitter gourd, pumpkin, lady’s finger and brinjal. If seen per kg, the prices of major vegetables have increased by Rs 10 to Rs 15.
