The market capitalization of seven of the country’s top 10 valued companies combined declined by Rs 1,22,107.11 crore last week. Tata Consultancy Services and Reliance Industries have suffered the biggest loss in this. In line with the weak trend in the stock market, there was a decline in the market capitalization of major companies. Last week, BSE Sensex fell by 307.09 points or 0.37 percent to 81,381.36. The market valuation of the country’s largest information technology company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) declined by Rs 35,638.16 crore to Rs 15,01,723.41 crore. The market capitalization of Reliance Industries declined by Rs 21,351.71 crore to Rs 18,55,366.53 crore. At the same time, the valuation of ITC decreased by Rs 18,761.4 crore to Rs 6,10,933.66 crore.
HUL lost Rs 16,047 crore
Apart from this, Hindustan Unilever Ltd. Its market capitalization declined by Rs 16,047.71 crore to Rs 6,53,315.60 crore. The market capitalization (MCAP) of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) declined by Rs 13,946.62 crore to Rs 6,00,179.03 crore and that of ICICI Bank declined by Rs 11,363.35 crore to Rs 8,61,696.24 crore. Also, the market capitalization of HDFC Bank declined by Rs 4,998.16 crore to Rs 12,59,269.19 crore.

However, the market valuation of Bharti Airtel increased by Rs 26,330.84 crore to Rs 9,60,435.16 crore. At the same time, the mcap of Infosys increased by Rs 6,913.33 crore to Rs 8,03,440.41 crore and the market capitalization of State Bank of India increased by Rs 3,034.36 crore to Rs 7,13,968.95 crore. Reliance Industries was the most valuable domestic company in terms of market capitalization. This was followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, Infosys, State Bank of India, Hindustan Unilever, ITC and LIC respectively.
