New Delhi. At present, the Seventh Pay Commission is going on and the central government employees are being given salary accordingly. But such speculations are also being made that this pay commission, brought to increase the salary, may be the last. That is, now the Eighth Pay Commission will not come. The central government is contemplating to take a new decision in this regard. Under this, the practice of pay commission can now be stopped. This formula was given by former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in the year 2016, but after his death it went into cold storage.
However, to increase the salary of the employees, the Central Government can do something new instead of the Pay Commission. There is also a possibility that now the increment in the salary of the employees will be done according to their performance. Apart from this, the government is also considering the pros and cons of the new formula and the entire process of implementation. It is worth mentioning that the former Finance Minister, Late Arun Jaitley had pointed this out in the month of July in the year 2016 and said that now we should think about the employees apart from the Pay Commission.
According to the information received, the government is preparing to formulate such a formula, in which if there is 50% DA, the salary will automatically increase. This process is being considered to be named as Automatically Pay Revision. However, a final decision has not been taken by the government about completely abolishing the pay commission and implementing this new formula. So far this matter has reached the deliberation stage only.
