Copenhagen/New Delhi, 1 June (IANS). Former Denmark Ambassador to India, Freddy Swen, said on Sunday that he is ‘surprised’ by the vastness of Mega Renewable Energy (RE) park of Adani Group in Khavda, Gujarat.
One of the experienced diplomats, Freddy Sven, visited the world’s largest Khawda Renewable Energy Park in November last year with the European Union (EU), Belgium and German ambassadors.
Talking to the news agency IANS, Swenn said, “I was very surprised by the strategy and its vastness behind it. It was an eye -opening experience and shows how important the Green Transition, Green Strategic Corporation is.”
Swen further stated that such green energy projects are not only good for bilateral relations, but also for humanity, because “we need a better and more sustainable world.”
Former ambassador to IANS said, “If we do not solve this climate crisis, then our next generations will have to face difficulties.”
Gautam Adani, chairman of Adani Group on the Khawda Renewable Energy Park Yatra of Ambassadors, said that it is a privilege to host them.
Gautam Adani said that the discussion with the ambassadors focused on strengthening the global partnership to advance India’s energy change and accelerate hydrogen ecosystem.
Adaani Group Chairman said in his post that our office had the opportunity to host the European Union (EU), Belgium, Denmark and German Ambassadors. I appreciate the world’s largest renewable energy park in Khawda, Gujarat and his visit to India’s largest port, logistics and industrial center in Mundra.
Swen further said that when Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to Denmark, he was very happy.
PM Modi made an official visit to Denmark on 3-4 May 2022 and held bilateral talks with his Danish counterpart Mete Fredericseen.
During the negotiations, the two Prime Ministers reviewed the progress of the Indo-Denmark Green Strategic Partnership and exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual interests.
