Adani Group donated 2,000 crores for India’s largest ‘Skill and Employees’ initiative

Ahmedabad, 12 February (IANS). Adani Group announced a partnership on Wednesday with Singapore’s ITE Education Services (ITEES) to prepare industry-red workforce in the country.

The purpose of this partnership is to create skilled workforce in areas such as green energy, manufacturing, high-tech, project excellence and industrial design.

International level School of Excellence will be established for this goal, for which the Adani family will donate Rs 2,000 crore.

This is a part of social donation of Rs 10,000 crore recently declared by Adani Group. On Tuesday, the company announced a donation of Rs 6,000 crore for the construction of Adani Health Cities (AHC) in partnership with Mayo Clinic in the US.

Adaani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said in a post on social media platform X that the company is launching the world’s largest and state -of -the -art Finishing School in Mundra, Gujarat.

He further said that in partnership with Singapore’s ITEES, India’s biggest skill and employee initiative is happy.

The billionaire businessman said that this state-of-the-art facility would mix AI-managed immersive learning with state-of-the-art innovation centers and train over 25,000 learners annually to help accelerate ‘Make in India’.

These learners will be new graduate and diploma holders with commercial and technical qualifications from ITI or Polytechnic and will be selected for an intensive boot camp experience within schools.

Each of these Finishing School will be called Adani Global Skills Academy, which will select students of technical and vocational education background in India, which will suit their industry and role aspirations.

Once these students are certified in their chosen field of study, they will be provided employment in the industry as well as the industry on the basis of their role and training.

The company said, “This will ensure that trained professionals will be ready for the industry from the first hour, and will suit global standards in excellence.

ITEES Singapore will play a knowledge partner in this partnership.
