Ahmedabad, 22 April (IANS). Adaan Data Network Network Limited (ADNL), a fulfilling owned subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL), announced on Tuesday that it had signed an agreement with Bharti Airtel Limited and its subsidiary Bharati Hexacom Limited to transfer the rights of 400 MHz spectrum to the 26 GHz spectrum in the 26 GHz spectrum.
The spectrum includes six telecom circle Gujarat (100 MHz), Mumbai (100 MHz), Andhra Pradesh (50 MHz), Rajasthan (50 MHz), Karnataka (50 MHz) and Tamil Nadu (50 MHz).
The company said in the stock exchange filing, “Adi Data Network Limited (ADNL), a subsidiary owned subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Limited, has signed agreements with Bharti Airtel Limited and its subsidiary Bharti Hexacom Limited to transfer the right to use 400 MHz spectrum into a 26 GHz spectrum.
However, this transaction is subject to the conditions prescribed under the required approval and spectrum trading guidelines.
The company said in its filing, “The completion of the transaction is necessary under the approval.”
This step is taken by ADNL as part of strategic reorganization of its digital connectivity assets. Adani Group acquired this spectrum during a 5G auction to focus on creating private networks and focusing on enhancing enterprises connectivity.
