Ahmedabad, 26 June (IANS). The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) unit of Adani Group on Thursday announced a partnership with Datta Meghe Megh Higher Education and Research Institute (DMIHER), a university in Maharashtra to establish the Global Center of Excellence (COE) in the cheap health services education and distribution system.
This partnership is inspired by the guidance of Gautam Adani’s guidance “Seva Hi Sadhana Hai” and reflects the belief of Adani Group that access to quality healthcare and education is the basis of nation building.
Dr. Preeti Adani, Chairperson of Adani Foundation, said, “This partnership with DMIHER shows our belief that access to quality healthcare and education is a fundamental right, not a privilege. We are proud to support the construction of Center of Excellence.
He said, “Together, our goal is to create a scalable model that works with dignity and by 2047 makes meaningful contribution towards the goal of ‘developed India’.”
The partnership with DMIHER aims to strengthen the access and impact of the institute in academic innovation, clinical research and community health.
DMIHER currently operates 15 institutions and 5 educational hospitals and offers 217 academic programs in 13 subjects including graduates, postgraduate, super-specialty, doctorate and fellowship courses.
The Adani Foundation stated that the partnership corresponds to the “Temple of Healthcare” concept of Adani Group, which re -define health facilities not only as treatment centers but also again as institutions of service, honor and compassion.
Dutta Meghe, founder of DMIHER Dutta Meghe said, “I feel very proud to see this cooperation. In 35 years, our approach to self -reliant health and education ecosystems has matured in a powerful reality. Cooperation with Adani Foundation is an important step in advancing both regional and national development.”
