New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Advantage Assam 2.0 investment and infrastructure summit 2025 in Guwahati today. During this, the PM said in his address, the land of Eastern India and North East is living today to start a new future. Advantage Assam is a great campaign to connect the whole world with the potential and progress of Assam. Modi said, a few months ago, Tata Semiconductor assembly and technical facilities have started in Jagi Road, Assam. This plant is going to promote technological development throughout the North East in the coming time.

The PM said, we have also collaborate with IITs for innovation in the semiconductor sector. For this, work is also being done at a semiconductor research center in the country. By the end of this decade, the value of the electronic sector is going to reach five thousand billion dollars. Our speed and scale is decided that India will emerge as a major force of semiconder production. This will provide employment to millions of people and the economy of Assam will also benefit.

In the coming time, this urea production plant will fulfill the demand for urea across India including the North East.
