Air India has blackened instead of ‘logo’ on its official X and Instagram handles. At the same time, ‘AI 171’ has been inscribed with the black theme on the home page of the website.

Air India flight AI-171, going from Ahmedabad to London, crashed shortly after flying.

After the accident, Air India has released the emergency helpline number 1800 5691 444 for AI-171.

According to the information, Air India aircraft Boeing 787 Dreamliner flew from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport on 23 to 13.39 IST. Shortly thereafter, the Made Call was released, but no other communication was received from the cockpit. The aircraft was operated by Captain Sumit Sabharwal, which has been a long -time pilot of Air India and had more than 8,200 flight hours of experience. At the same time, first officer Clive Kunder flew 1,100 hours.

The accident occurred near Meghaninagar area of ​​Ahmedabad. The aircraft crashed during the take-off. Black smoke has been seen rising in the sky from the scene immediately after the plane crashed. This estimates heavy losses in the aircraft accident.

After the plane crash, several fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. Relief and rescue work is being done. However, no official information has been revealed about how much life and property has been damaged in this accident.

At the time of the accident, there were 242 people on the plane, including 230 passengers, 10 cabin crew and two pilots.

Air India said on the social media handle ‘X’, “Flight AI 171 was going from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick. Today has been an accident on 12 June. We are currently investigating the details and will share more information on our social media platform ‘X’ and Air India website in this matter.”
