Mumbai After Hindenburg Research, now the George Soros-funded Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) has accused Adani Group of secretly taking foreign investments. Adani Group has called this allegation baseless. In the news, Adani Group has issued a statement on the latest allegations made by George Soros’ organization. Adani Group has said that a section of the Soros-funded foreign media first made false allegations based on the Hindenburg report. Adani Group has said that news was coming in the media since last week and it already seemed that new allegations could be made again.
Adani Group has said in the statement that the independent authority and the tribunal for appeal have already said that we have not done any over valuation and all the transactions have been done as per the law. Adani Group has said in its statement that the regulatory work is still going on and both the Supreme Court and SEBI are looking into the allegations against us. Adani Group has denied the latest allegations and said that it has faith in the law. The group has said that whatever information it has given is correct and as per the standards of the corporate world. Adani Group has said on the allegations of secretly taking foreign investments that their timing raises doubts and says that the allegations have been made to tarnish the image of the group.
Adani Group has further written in its statement that the Supreme Court has given its decision in our favor only in March 2023. Neither have we inflated the price of our shares and there is no basis for any foundation to accuse us of transfer of funds. According to Adani Group, whatever allegations are being made, their cases have been closed after investigation 10 years ago. Adani Group has already said that DRI has found many allegations including fund transfer false after investigation.
