Big Bhi i.e. Amitabh Bachchan has paid the outstanding GST (GST) of Rs 1.09 crore after receiving the notice from the GST Department. This notice was given to Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan by the Director General of Goods and Services Tax Intelligence. Let us tell you, in November last year, Amitabh Bachchan had sold MFT worth Rs 7.15 crore.

Big B’s troubles are not going to end even after GST payment. According to sources, the investigation by Goods and Services Tax Intelligence may continue. Let us inform, after the changes made in the Income Tax Act by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, the authorized entities started tracing the business of people associated with NFT. Apart from Amitabh Bachchan, stars like Salman Khan, Zaheer Khan, Rishabh Pant are also losing money through this.
So far no official statement has been issued by Amitabh Bachchan and his family on this entire tax matter. As per the existing rules, GST of 18% has to be paid on NFTs.

The full form of NFT is Non Fungible Token. Assets whose transactions cannot be done through cash or other online means are called non-fungible. These transactions are completely virtual. Token is the medium of this transaction. This is the reason why it is called a non-fungible token. NFTs are digital assets, which are handled through blockchain technology.
