New Delhi, 19 June (IANS). Air India on Thursday shared a post with its official X handle in memory of the Ahmedabad plane crash. The company expressed its condolences to the loss of life and property in the AI-171 aircraft accident.
On the social media platform X, the airline wrote in a latest post, “In our hearts and in our purpose.” With this post, the company has shown an air hostess with ‘in remumbers’ folded hands.
Different reactions from social media X users have appeared on the post. Some users were seen asking questions from the airline that through this post, what message does the airline want to give. At the same time, some users said that they are standing together with the passengers and family of Air India in this hour of grief.
An X handle user replied on the post and wrote, “Take the maintenance of the aircraft seriously and it is expected that the situation will not come again.”
Prior to this post, Air India announced on Wednesday that the company would cut its wide-bodies aircraft by 15 percent in international flights. This deduction will be implemented by June 20 and will continue till at least mid -July.
Meanwhile, an important step has been taken by the Ministry of Civil Aviation after the Ahmedabad plane crash. The Ministry has issued new draft rules to tighten control over physical structure that pose risk to aircraft safety.
On June 12, the Air India aircraft going from Ahmedabad to London’s Gatwick Airport, shortly after flying, B.J. The medical college had crashed in the hostel and became a fireball, killing almost all the people in the aircraft and many people were killed on the ground. In this accident, only one passenger sitting on the plane was saved.
