The airline has introduced this AI-based feature in its mobile app for this. According to Bhasha news, Air India has introduced the AEYE Vision feature in its app, which provides real-time information related to travel. In recent times, Air India has faced a lot of complaints related to passengers’ luggage.
What are the features of AI Vision feature
According to the report, Air India said that AEYE Vision allows passengers to access flight details, boarding passes, baggage status and meal options by scanning a code on their ticket, boarding pass or baggage tag. This new facility is powered by computer vision technology based on artificial intelligence (AI). This allows passengers to know when their luggage is loaded, unloaded and ready for pick-up at baggage claim.
Fake bomb news on Delhi-Visakhapatnam flight
There was news of a bomb in an Air India plane going from New Delhi to Visakhapatnam late on Tuesday night, but when a thorough investigation was conducted after landing in Visakhapatnam, the news proved to be false. An official gave this information. Visakhapatnam Airport Director S Raja Reddy said that someone called Delhi Police and informed about a bomb in the plane. In view of this, the police alerted the aviation company and Visakhapatnam airport. Reddy said that the plane landed safely and after a thorough investigation of the plane, it was found that the bomb news was a rumour. There were 107 passengers on board the Visakhapatnam-bound plane.
Vistara merges with Air India
After getting regulatory approval, the date for incorporation of Vistara’s planes and crew into Air India has been fixed as November 12. Vistara, a joint venture between Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, is merging with Air India. After the merger, this Singapore Airlines airline will have a 25.1 percent stake in Tata Group-owned Air India.
