Mumbai, May 27 (IANS). Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals released the results of the fourth quarter of FY 25 on Tuesday. The company’s profit in the January-March period has fallen by 32.89 percent to Rs 27.58 crore on a quarterly basis, which was Rs 41.16 crore in the December quarter.
However, the company has come into profit from a annual basis. The company had a loss of Rs 57.86 crore in the March quarter of FY 24.
The company said in the exchange filing, “In the fourth quarter of FY 25, income from the company’s operations has come down to Rs 328 crore. It has decreased by 2.6 percent against the December quarter of Rs 337 crore.
On an annual basis, income from the company’s operations has increased by 9.14 percent. The figure was Rs 298 crore in the March quarter of FY 24.
The total income of the company has come down to Rs 360 crore in the fourth quarter of FY 25. It has decreased by 2.9 percent against the December quarter of Rs 371 crore.
The company’s total income has gained 10.76 percent on an annual basis. The figure was Rs 325 crore in the March quarter of FY 24.
The company’s total expenditure in the March quarter of FY 25 was Rs 323 crore, which is 2.2 percent higher than the December 316 crore in the December quarter. However, it has seen a 13.17 percent decrease on an annual basis. It was Rs 372 crore in the March quarter of FY 24.
The company’s profit for the entire financial year 25 was Rs 161 crore, while in FY 24, the company had a loss of Rs 165 crore. However, during this period the total income of the company has been reduced from Rs 1,538 crore to 6.6 percent to Rs 1,435 crore.
