The country’s well-known auto company Ather Energy, which manufactures electric scooters, has made a new record in terms of sales by taking full advantage of the festive season. Ather Energy has wholesaled more than 20,000 electric scooters so far in October, which is the company’s largest figure in any single month so far. The company said in a statement on Thursday that the recently introduced scooter Rizta has made an important contribution in this. Ather Energy said Rizta accounted for about 60-70 percent of the company’s total sales this month.

The company said that as of October 30, Ather has retailed 20,000 scooters across India. This increase comes after Ather’s September retail performance. The company sold 12,828 electric scooters in September, as a result of which its nationwide market share increased from 7.9 percent in July to 14.3 percent in September.
Company is going to bring IPO of Rs 4500 crore
There is a continuous increase in the demand for electric vehicles in India and in October this sector has recorded an annual growth of 70 percent. Let us tell you that only last month, Ather Energy had applied to SEBI for an initial public offering (IPO) of Rs 4500 crore. Ather Energy’s biggest rival company Ola Electric has also recently been listed in the stock market.
The company is planning to set up a manufacturing plant in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar district.
The company currently has 231 experience centers and 2500 fast charging stations across the country. Ather has a manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. Apart from this, Ather Energy is also planning to set up another manufacturing plant in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar district of Maharashtra.
