New Delhi, 25 June (IANS). The Australian High Commissioner in India, Philip Green OAM, on Wednesday congratulated Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla for flying to the International Space Station with three other astronauts under the Ex-4 mission.
Talking to the news agency IANS in the national capital in the national capital, Philip Green OAM said, “I am very happy to represent Australia here. Apart from me, the Governor of South Australia and three of the six states of Australia in India Space Congress are here.”
He added, “Australia sees India’s Space Ecosystem as a very big opportunity, which is with strong supplementary capabilities for Australia. Australia is a very large country, which has a very low population and land is very large, sky is black, trekking is black and launch sites are very large. Our tracking capabilities caught the first indications of the moon in the southern part of the moon.”
The Australian High Commissioner congratulated Shubhanshu Shukla and said that India is emerging as a player in Space Ecosystem and we are eagerly waiting for the results of today’s projection.
Subba Rao Pavuluri, President of CECCOM India, while talking to the news agency, said that the objective of India Space Congress 2025 is to consider what can be done to encourage its best in the space sector in terms of launch vehicle, satellite and various operating fields under reforms by collecting experts from various fields on one platform.
Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla has sent a message to the country after flying to the space station. He has informed about his journey and appealed to the countrymen.
In his message sent from the spacecraft, Shubhanshu Shukla said, “Hello, my dear countrymen! What is the journey after 41 years, we have reached the space and were amazing ride. At this time we are roaming around the earth at a speed of 7.5 kilometers per second. My tricolor is on my shoulder, which I am telling me that I am not alone with you.”
