Bank Holidays March 2022: If you have any bank related work next week then you may have to wait a long time. Actually, the festival of Holi is coming next week, in such a situation, there will be no work in the banks for four consecutive days. Banks will remain closed for 4 consecutive days on March 17, 18, 19 and 20. These holidays also include a Sunday holiday.
Different rules for all states
According to the list of holidays given on the official website of RBI (Bank Holidays List 2022), banking holidays also depend on the festivals celebrated in different states or the notification of special occasions in those states. All these holidays will not be applicable in all the states. In such a situation, before leaving home to settle the business of banks in the month of March, definitely go out after seeing the list of bank holidays or else your day will be ruined.

March 17: (Holika Dahan)- Banks will remain closed in Dehradun, Kanpur, Lucknow and Ranchi.
March 18: (Holi / Dhuleti / Dol Jatra) – Banks will remain closed except in Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Imphal, Kochi, Kolkata and Thiruvananthapuram.
March 19: (Second day of Holi / Yaosang) – Banks will remain closed in Bhubaneswar, Imphal and Patna.
March 20: Sunday (weekly holiday)
