Bank Holidays December 2024: There are going to be long bank holidays in the next month i.e. December. There will be a total of 17 days of bank holidays with weekly off in different states. There will be 5 Sundays in December, 2024, apart from this, there will also be a holiday of 2 Saturdays. In this way, there will be a total of 7 days weekly off of banks in December. Apart from this, there will be many holidays like Christmas and New Year Eve in many states. Next month, 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th December will be Sunday, due to which there will be a holiday for all the banks of the country. Let us tell you that apart from the weekly off in these states, there will be bank holidays for local festivals. The Reserve Bank of India decides holidays keeping in mind the local festivals in all the states of the country. Apart from the Reserve Bank, no bank can decide the holiday as per its own. Only the Reserve Bank has the right to decide bank holidays.
