Bengaluru will be at the forefront of appointment of freshers for global capacity centers in the year 2025

New Delhi, 26 May (IANS). Bangalore remains the most optimistic for the appointment of freshers in the Global Capacity Center (GCC) sector, where 17 percent of companies have estimated an increase of more than 50 percent, indicating more aggressive hiring approach in 2025 than in other cities. This information was given in a report on Monday.

According to NLB Services, compared to last year, in 2025 so far, the appointment in the IT sector has recorded a 4 percent increase in an annual basis.

NLB Services CEO Sachin Alug said, “The focus of the Indian corporate world as a reaction to the emerging demands of the industry remains on the entry level talent, which is being seen due to progress in automation, cyber-system, cloud transformation. Companies are being recruited not only for blanks, but they are also investing on the freshers, but they are also investing on the freshers. Future-Reddy can prepare the workforce. “

The sector has gained an increase in the sector, which increased from 17 percent to 34 percent in 2024 to 34 percent in 2024, followed by FMCG 16 percent, insurance 15 percent and pharma 11 percent.

Freshers entering the IT sector can expect a salary package from Rs 3.5 lakh to Rs 8 lakh per year based on their skill sets and rolls.

For example, software developers usually earn Rs 2.8 lakh to Rs 8.2 lakh per year. The salary of web developers ranges from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 8 lakh per year for freshers.

Beyond the metro cities, Tier 2 and 3 cities are emerging and creating new opportunities for IT as well as freshers in non-IT regions.

For example, cities like Mysore, Gandhinagar, Visakhapatnam, Indore, Lucknow, Kochi, Jaipur and Vijayawada are seeing great growth.

Coimbatore, Indore, Udaipur, Bhubaneswar, Jaipur and Chandigarh are developing as IT hubs, where the salary of freshers is from Rs 3.5 lakh to Rs 6 lakh per year, which is slightly higher than in metro cities.

In addition, cities such as Nashik, Salem and Vadodara are gaining prominence as preferred places for GCC.

The firm in the Indian GCC ecosystem is continuing its development. At the same time, fresh hiring trends are developing with strong attention to youth talent and diversity.

The report states that as GCC will expand globally with digital transformation and automation, the demand for young talents will increase rapidly in the coming years.
