Pluck the fruits of the betel nut tree only when three-fourths of them are ripe. Betel nut is sold at a good price in the market. It can be easily sold at a price of around Rs 400 to Rs 700 per kg. In such a situation, if betel nut is cultivated in one acre, bumper profits can be earned. Depending on the number of trees, the profit can reach crores of rupees. These trees give profits for about 70 years.
