Mumbai, 6 February (IANS). The country’s legendary telecom company Bharti Airtel presented the third quarter results on Thursday. The company has made a profit of Rs 14,781 crore in the October-December period. This is due to the consolidation of Indus Tower, the specific benefit of the OneTime is a specific benefit.
If the Vantime specific profit is accommodated, the company has a profit of Rs 5,514 crore in the third quarter of FY 25, which was Rs 2,442 crore in the same period last year.
The company’s income from operations has increased by 19 percent to Rs 45,129 crore on an annual basis. This is due to a strong growth in the business of India and Africa.
Gopal Vittal, Vice Chairman and MD said, “We performed another quarter strongly. The consolidation of Indus Towers was to be effective from the third quarter.”
He said that the company’s balance sheet remains strong, which is getting support from strong cash creation, prudent capital allocation and continuous dealeting.
“We believe the industry will further improve tariffs to ensure continuous investment and long -term price creation,” Vittal said.
The average income of Aytel has recorded a strong growth in the user (ARPU) and increased to Rs 245 in the third quarter of FY 25, which was Rs 208 in the same period last year.
Airtel strengthened its leadership in the postpaid segment by adding 6 lakh new customers in the third quarter, making its total postpaid user base to 2.5 crores.
Airtel continued a strong performance in its business. The company’s income has increased by 8.7 percent on an annual basis.
There has been a strong growth in the company’s domestic broadband segment and the income of this segment has increased by 19 percent in the third quarter of FY 25.
Due to the demand for fiber-to—-house (FTTH) and fixed wireless access (FWA) services, the net customer growth in this segment reached a record high level of 674,000.
However, the income of Airtel’s digital TV segment saw an annual decline of 3 percent.
