It is expected that GST will be reduced from 18% to 5%.
18% to 5% GST?
After this statement of PM Modi, the names of everyday things like flex, pastry, ice cream and cocoa-based chocolate are coming out. It is being said that in the ongoing reforms under GST 2.0, the fitment committee has recommended to reduce GST from 18 percent to 5 percent on all these products. If this decision is approved in the next week’s meeting, then there may be a huge decline in their prices. This will give a lot of relief to the customers.

When will GST Council meet?
According to reports, the GST Council meeting will be held on 2 September, which will include officials. Next, the main meeting of the council will be held on 3 September. It will start at 11 am. Subsequently, the second meeting of the council will be held on 4 September.
