American online shopping companies Amazon and Flipkart are ready to compete with Indian online shopping companies Blinkit and Swiggy, as both these companies are preparing to enter India’s quick commerce market. Amazon company is testing its ‘Tez’ service in Bengaluru. Flipkart’s ‘Minutes’ venture is ready to provide many products including electronics and medicines to customers with 150 stores. By the way, Walmart is America’s largest retail company.

Pilot project of Amazon’s Tez Venture in Bengaluru
According to the report of Time of India, Amazon company is testing its quick commerce market branch Tez in Bengaluru. The objective of this pilot project is to provide daily essential items to the customers through dark stores in the city in collaboration with third party companies through home delivery within a few minutes. According to an Amazon spokesperson, the company keeps working on new ideas for customers. Testing is being done by providing daily essential items to customers in selected pin codes of Bengaluru. If the pilot project is successful then it will be implemented in the entire country.

Flipkart is expanding ‘Minutes’ service
According to media reports, Walmart-owned Flipkart is expanding its Quick Commerce service Minutes in India. In the first quarter, the company will open 150 stores in Bengaluru, in which smartphones, laptops and medicine will be made available to the customers. The company’s target is to provide minutes faster and quality products than companies like Zepto, Swiggy Instamart and Blinkit. Flickart plans to establish its foothold in Kolkata also.
