Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is going to organize flash cell in India soon. The government -owned telecom company announced this through its social media handle and also told about the coming deals. Consumers are expected to get free data, broadband deal or discount in flash cell. The development has taken place by BSNL after the recent announcement of 5G service in India and doorstep delivery of prepaid and postpaid SIM cards.
In a post on X (East Twitter), BSNL has released a flash cell teaser in India. The video clip given together said, ‘Something big is going to happen! Are you ready for unexpected experience? ‘ However, the date of the flash cell has not yet been revealed and only ‘is going to come soon’.
Government -owned telecommunications company has also asked X users to estimate the offer available during the sale. According to the teaser, BSNL consumers may get free data, broadband deal or large discounts.
In particular, the BSNL flash cell is coming at a time when the telecom operator is reducing the number of customers in the telecom sector of India. Recently released telecom membership data by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) suggests that a total of 0.2 million customers declined in April. In addition, data also shows that the number of active customers of BSNL during the same period has declined by 1.8 million.
BSNL has initiated several new initiatives to get customers back. Earlier this month, the telecom operator announced its 5G service in India. It is named Q-5G (abbreviated name of Quantum 5G), which reflects the ‘power, speed and future’ of BSNL’s 5G network. Apart from this, it has also started doorstep delivery of prepaid and postpaid SIM cards, which are already offering private telecom operators like Airtel, Jio and Vodafone Idea (VI).
With this new service, consumers can get a new connection or port their existing number to BSNL and get SIM to their homes. They have to fill the customer registration form for self-KYC, after which the SIM will be delivered. According to BSNL, consumers can contact the helpline number 1800-180-1503 for any doubt or inquiry.
