Business News Desk – After the market closed, one Maharatna company has received a mega order from another Maharatna company. In a communication sent to the stock market, BHEL i.e. Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited said that it has received a big order of about Rs 6100 crore from NTPC. This is a thermal power engineering project. On Friday, BHEL’s share closed at Rs 266 (BHEL Share Price) with a rise of three and a half percent. The effect of this news can be seen on the stock when the market opens on Monday. According to the information available on the BSE website, BHEL has received an order for EPC engineering, procurement and construction for an 800 MW super critical thermal power project. This project is located in Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh. This project is to be completed in the next 48 months.

Earlier on August 26, BHEL received an order from Adani Power and its subsidiary Mahan Energy Limited. This order was for the company’s super critical thermal power projects located in Mahan, Madhya Pradesh. BHEL received orders for boilers, turbines, generators for 3 different projects. The total value of these three orders was Rs 11000 crore and it is to be completed in 55 months.

BHEL is getting continuous orders. As of April 1, 2024, the company’s order book is more than Rs 1.31 lakh crore. Correction has been seen in this stock for some time. This week the stock is at the level of Rs 266. On July 9, this stock made a 52-week high of Rs 335. Since then, it is witnessing continuous correction. There has been no return on net basis in the last two weeks. In a month, it has given a negative return of 10 per cent. On the one hand, domestic analyst Antique Stock Broking has advised buying this PSU stock and has given a target of Rs 365. On the other hand, Kotak Securities has given a target of Rs 100 with a sell rating.
