New Delhi, 10 July (IANS). Gold and silver prices witnessed an increase on Thursday. 24 carat gold prices have increased by Rs 961 per 10 grams and silver by Rs 654 per kg.
According to the price released by the India Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA) in the evening, the price of 24 carat gold has increased by Rs 961 to Rs 97,046 per 10 grams, which was Rs 96,085 per 10 grams on Thursday.
The price of 10 grams of gold of 22 carats has increased to Rs 88,894, which was earlier Rs 88,014 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of 10 grams of 18 carats has increased to Rs 72,785, which was earlier Rs 72,064 per 10 grams.
The prices of gold and evening gold are released twice a day by IBJA.
Along with gold, the price of silver has also increased. In the last 24 hours, the price of silver has increased by Rs 654 to Rs 1,07,934 per kg, which was earlier Rs 1,07,280 per kg.
In the international market, gold and silver prices are also seeing a rise. By the time the news was written, the gold gained 0.25 percent to $ 3,329.30 an ounce and silver rose by 0.78 percent to $ 36.91 an ounce.
Since January 1, the price of 10 grams 24 carat gold has increased from Rs 76,162 to Rs 20,884 or 27.42 percent to Rs 97,046. At the same time, silver price has also increased from Rs 86,017 per kg to Rs 21,917 or 25.47 percent to Rs 1,07,934 per kg.
Additionally, the rupee’s performance was mixed against the dollar.
Jatin Trivedi of LKP Securities said that the start of the rupee had weakened, but the Indian rupee was strengthened against the dollar during the business and the initial loss has recovered.
He further said that the increase in the deadline for talks and tariffs on the trade deal has stabilized around 86. Also said that the rupee can trade between 85.30 and 86.20 against the dollar in the coming time.
