Business News Desk, Chhath Puja has started from today. Apart from schools and colleges, banks will also remain closed on Chhath. Due to the festival, banks will remain closed for four consecutive days in some states. This includes the second Saturday and one Sunday. The states where banks will remain closed include Bihar, Delhi, Jharkhand and West Bengal. Before going to the bank on these dates, check the RBI list once before leaving the house.

On which day will banks be closed?
Chhath festival has started in the country. On the occasion of this festival, work will not be done in banks in many states across the country. Its list has been released by RBI. According to the RBI holiday calendar, banks will remain closed on November 7 and November 8. Banks will remain closed in Bihar, Delhi, Jharkhand and West Bengal on 7th November (Thursday) on the occasion of Chhath Puja evening Arghya. At the same time, for Chhath (Morning Arghya)/Vangla Mahotsav on November 8 (Friday), it has been announced to keep banks in Bihar, Jharkhand and Meghalaya.

There will be holiday on 9th and 10th November also
Even after the holiday of 7th and 8th November, work will not be done in banks for the next two days. All banks remain closed on the second and fourth Saturday of the month. 9th November is the second Saturday, banks will remain closed on this day. The fourth holiday will be on Sunday.

Other Bank Holidays
Banks closed on 15th November (Friday) this month in Mizoram, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, Hyderabad-Telangana, Arunachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jammu, Uttar Pradesh, Nagaland, Bengal, New Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Himachal. Will stay. This holiday is given on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, Kartika Purnima, Rahas Purnima. Apart from this, banks will remain closed on 18th November on Kanakdas Jayanti. There will be no work in banks on 23rd November on the occasion of Seng Kutsnem.
