Raipur, January 23 (IANS). Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai on Thursday participated in the ‘Investors Connect’ program organized by the Chhattisgarh Commerce and Industry Department in the country’s financial capital Mumbai. He informed that Chhattisgarh has received a Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) proposal of Rs 6,000 crore for the first time.
The Chief Minister said that the industry-friendly environment created by the Chhattisgarh government in the summit was highly appreciated by all the industrialists.
He said in the press conference, “A large number of industrialists participated in the ‘Investors Connect’ program organized by the Chhattisgarh Commerce and Industry Department in Mumbai on Thursday. In this program, Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy, 2024-30 was presented to the industry. Prominent industrialists from Mumbai and Maharashtra participated in the program and were greatly impressed by the new policy of the state, because for the first time. Foreign direct investment (FDI) proposal worth Rs 6,000 crore has been received. This will generate employment in the state.
He said, “At the event, he met big industrialists like Aditya Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla, Godrej Group Executive Director Tanya Dubash, Bombay Hospital Trust, Well Aspen Group, Cricket Technology, Research Association, etc. Apart from this, American and Russian There was also a discussion with the Consul General of the Consulate, all of whom expressed their desire to invest in Chhattisgarh. It is a matter of great pride for the people of Chhattisgarh that outsiders are willing to invest in the state. Are also interested.”
He said, “This is a big opportunity for Chhattisgarh, because it will provide employment to the youth of the state and will strengthen the economic condition of the state.
