New Delhi. In order to provide comfort to the passengers, Indian Railways has started the first private train manufactured in the country. This train service will run between Coimbatore to Shirdi. This train will be operated under Bharat Gaurav Yojana. It was inaugurated on Tuesday by flagging off the private train. Expressing happiness about this, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav also tweeted a video. While giving information, CPRO Southern Railway B Guggenson said, “India’s first private train service under Bharat Gaurav scheme was flagged off from Coimbatore on Tuesday. This train will depart from Coimbatore North on Tuesday and reach Sai Nagar in Shirdi on Thursday. About 1500 passengers can travel on this train at a time. After leaving Coimbatore, the train will halt at a total of 7 stops, which include Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Yelahank, Dharmavaram, Mantralayam Road and Wadi. This train after departure from Coimbatore will halt at Mantralayam Road Railway Station for about 5 hours so that all passengers can have a good darshan at Mantralayam Road Temple.
A total of 20 coaches have been installed in this first private train of the country. It is kept on lease for 2 years. First class, second class, third class and sleeper class coaches have been installed in this train. This train will be operated at least 3 times in a month. This private train will leave from Coimbatore North at 6 pm on Tuesday and will reach Sai Nagar in Shirdi at 7.25 am on Thursday. Only vegetarian food will be served to the passengers in this train. Apart from this, a doctor will also be posted in the train.
Talking about the fare of this train, Rs 2,500 for sleeper non AC, Rs 5,000 for third AC, Rs 7,000 for second AC and Rs 10,000 for first class AC ticket. The maintenance and upkeep of the train will be done by the housekeeping service providers. Who will do the cleaning from time to time during the entire journey and will take care of the facilities of the passengers.
