New Delhi, 13 March (IANS). Union Commerce and Industry Minister, Piyush Goyal said on Thursday that the creative industry should take India’s growth story to the world.
Addressing the three -day multidisciplinary program RISE/DEL Conference 2025 connecting music, creative industry and startups, the Union Minister emphasized on continuing confidence and reality in the center of creative work.
He identified four aspects of creative industries to contribute to the upliftment of India during the Amrit period, including the responsible material, new story, skill development and export of Indian creativity.
The Union Minister called for focus on new content responsible from the creators and emphasized the role of skill, storytelling, film production, music production, gaming and digital media in increasing India’s export income.
Goyal said that Digital India was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi a decade ago, which aims to ensure that the remote corners of India had the ability to create a new world of content creators, startups and entrepreneurs.
He further stated that access to low -cost data has been one of the major pillars of Digital India policy of this government, making India the largest consumer of data globally. The cost of our data is much less than Europe, America or any other developed country.
Discussing creatively designed experiences to promote tourism, Goyal described Mahakumbh as an example of how digital story tailing can attract global audiences.
The minister said, “When you take India’s experience to the world, it will create more curiosity and more tourists will come to India, which will increase the economy”
He emphasized that the government is committed to ensure an exciting and enjoyable journey for visitors.
