1. Chhattisgarh
Ahead of Diwali, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai announced a 4 percent increase in dearness allowance (DA) for state government employees. This increased the total DA to 50 percent. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister’s Office said that the updated dearness allowance will be applicable from October 1.
2. Odisha
The Odisha government has approved a 4% increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) for state employees. After this DA increased from 46% to 50%. Applicable from 1 January 2024.

3. Himachal Pradesh
Before Dussehra, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu had announced a 4 percent increase in dearness allowance for state government employees and pensioners from January 1, 2023.
4. Jharkhand
Let us tell you that recently the state government had announced a 9 percent increase in the Dearness Allowance (DA) of government employees. Earlier, government employees were getting DA of 230% under the Sixth Central Pay Commission. After the increase, it becomes 239%. The updated DA rates are applicable from January 1, 2024.
5. Sikkim
The Sikkim government increased the dearness allowance for its employees by four percent during the Durga Puja festival. State government employees will see an increase in their DA from the current 46 percent to 50 percent from January 1, 2024.
