A 19 -year -old youth died under suspicious circumstances in Banmkhi police station area of Purnia district. The sensation spread in the area after the body of a roadside youth was found near the government school. The family has described the death as a murder and alleged that the person has been strangled to death. On receiving the information of the incident, the police reached the spot and took the body in possession and sent it to Purnia GMCH for postmortem. At present, three youths, including DJ operator, are being questioned in custody.
He called from home and found his body in the morning.
According to the information received, the deceased youth has been identified as Ankit Kumar (19), a resident of East Tola Mohania Banmankhi. Ankit worked as a driver at DJ operator Suman Kumar. According to family members, Ankit was going to sleep with his family after eating food with his family at around eight o’clock on Sunday night, when an unknown person called him out of the house. He left the house without telling anyone. In the morning, when the children were going to coaching, they saw Ankit’s body near the school and made a noise. When the family reached the spot, he saw that Ankit’s mouth was covered with a cloth and there were strangulation marks on the neck.
‘Murder due to debt’
The deceased’s younger brother Chandreshwari Sah alleged that someone called Ankit out of the house and then murdered him under a conspiracy. Ankit’s father also suspected the murder, saying that he owed Rs 1.5 lakh to DJ Director Suman Kumar, which he had asked for several times. He alleged that Suman and his associates killed his son with money transactions.
Police started investigation, three suspects detained
After the incident, the Banmkhi police has started a thorough investigation into the case. Banmkhi SDPO Subodh Kumar said that we got information that the body of a young man was found in a suspicious situation on Monday morning. The body has been sent to Purnia GMCH for post -mortem. At present, three youths have been detained for questioning. The family has not filed any written complaint yet, but further investigation will be done on the basis of their complaint and necessary action will be taken.
