New Delhi, 3 April (IANS). The second edition of the three -day ‘Startup Mahakumbh 2025’ in Delhi started officially on Thursday at Bharat Mandapam. The event is the largest gathering in India’s Startup Ecosystem, with more than 3,000 startups its new technology, products and services. Representatives of more than 50 countries will participate in it.
The ‘Delhi Startup Mahakumbh 2025’, designated as the world’s largest event for innovation and entrepreneurship, will have more than 3,000 startups from more than 50 countries, more than 1,000 investors and incubators and more than 10,000 representatives.
The program includes 10 dynamic areas AI, Deep Tech, Cyber Security, Health Tech, Biotech, Agri Tech, Energy and Climate Tech, Incubator and Accelerator, D2C, Fintech, Gaming and Sports, Defense and Space Tech and Mobility. The program organized under the Department of Industry and Internal Trade Promotion (DPIIT) and the Center’s Startup India initiative is to provide funding, networking and global connection opportunities to startups.
In his address to the program, Minister of State for Information and Technology Jitin Prasad hoped about India’s development prospects. He said, “India is in safe hands. We are committed to becoming a developed nation till 2047. We have talent, skill and sharp government. Unlike others, our government has been elected three times in a row under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Together with stakeholders like you, we will support a strong, more creative and lively India, fulfilling our commitment to the people of India.”
Speaking to IANS, Uttar Pradesh IT and Electronics Minister Sunil Kumar Sharma said, “Prayagraj’s Mahakumbh taught the world to record the world. Similarly, the Startup Mahakumbh is setting new standards in the development area of our country, displaying new talents and leading India towards becoming a developed nation.”
