Digital Jeevan Pramaan Patra Campaign 3.0 will play an important role in digital empowerment

New Delhi, November 7 (IANS). Digital Jeevan Pramaan Patra Campaign 3.0 is being run for the digital empowerment of pensioners. This campaign is important as part of PM Modi’s vision for digital empowerment of pensioners. DLC Campaign 3.0 is being conducted from November 1 to 30, 2024 across 800 cities/towns in India.

In this campaign, all pensioners of Central, State Government, EPFO ​​and autonomous bodies can submit their digital life certificates to the pension disbursing banks or IPPB. This facility will be available for super senior pensioners from home. They are being provided door step delivery of services.

All pension disbursing banks including State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, CGDA, IPPB, UIDAI are working together to implement the DLC campaign. This campaign is important for the welfare of pensioners through digital empowerment in line with PM Modi’s ‘Nation First, Citizen First’ vision.

With this vision, Jeevan Pramaan was started in 2014 and Face Authentication was started in 2021. In the year 2022, DLC Campaign 1.0 was implemented in 37 cities.

The Year 2023 DLC Campaign 2.0 was held in November, 2023 across 597 locations across 100 cities. Under this, a total of 1.47 crore DLCs were prepared. Of these, 45.46 lakh belonged to central government pensioners. 25.41 lakh DLCs were generated using face authentication technology and more than 30,500 pensioners above 90 years of age availed the DLCs. The campaign will organize 1,900 DLC camps across 800 cities and towns with over 1,100 nodal officers.

1.8 lakh Gramin Dak Sevaks will provide services in IPPB camps to be organized in 785 cities and towns. Pension disbursing banks will organize DLC camps in 157 cities/towns. Feedback regarding DLC ​​Campaign 3.0 can be shared with Dr. Jitendra Singh at PWA, social media or through helpline number 1-800-111-960. This feedback will be used to identify problems and improve the delivery system.

Additionally, it will be ensured that the process remains user-friendly and accessible to all pensioners. The progress of the campaign will be monitored through real-time data on submission of certificates and response of pensioners on the DLC portal.
