The domestic stock market started flat on Monday in the first trading session of the week. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) benchmark Sensex gained 40.67 points at 9.16 am trading at a level of 74,373.25 with a gain of 40.67 points. Similarly, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty was also trading at 22,558.35 with a slight gain of 5.85 points. On Monday, stules like India Pesticides, HFCL, NDR Auto Components, JSW Steel, GR Infrastraks, Biocon, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, Container Corporation of India, Thangmayel Jewelery, Hinduja Global Solutions, IRB Infrastructure Developers and Astraks Are in focus.

The shares that have received major benefits at the beginning of business today on Nifty included Sun Pharma, Bharat Electronics, Bajaj Finance, Adani Enterprises, JSW Steel. In contrast, the loss -taking stocks included IndusInd Bank, M&M, L&T, Bajaj Auto, ITC. The rupee fell 34 paise to 87.29 against the US dollar.
