Mumbai, June 9 (IANS). NSE Managing Director and CEO Ashish Chauhan said on Monday that there has been a big change in the country’s infrastructure during the tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Also, there has been an increase in honor of Indians abroad.
Talking to news agency IANS, Ashish Chauhan said, “During PM Modi’s tenure, infrastructure such as ports, roads and airports etc. developed a lot and it has helped to increase the development of the country.”
He further further, “When we go abroad, we get more good respect because Modi’s arrival from the country.”
Describing PM Modi’s tenure as historic, Chauhan said, I think this term of PM Modi in the history of independent India will be considered a very important period. After 100 years from today, people will say that we are lucky that we are living in Modi’s era and I am sure that he will be able to serve the country easily for the next 10-20 years.
On the IPO of the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Chauhan said, the exchange has demanded a no objection certificate (NOC) from the regulator. After getting the NOC, we will prepare our draft Red Herring Prospectors (DRHP) and then we will send it back to SEBI. They will then take their time to approve it.
Recently, NSE Managing Director said that India has emerged as the information technology (IT) capital of the world. Also, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) has been a pioneer in using the huge digital public infrastructure, helping millions of people to trade through its high -tech digital platforms.
Chauhan had insisted that NSE had pioneered technology during IT Boom in 1994. Later, during the year 2000, NSE demonstrated India’s technical capabilities, attracted large contracts and became the center of showing its expertise for small companies.
