Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will launch the’i NCAER State Economic Forum ‘portal on Tuesday. This platform will provide access to the comprehensive reserves of data on social, economic and fiscal parameters of the states during three decades by FY 2022-23. According to PTI news, this platform, developed by NITI Aayog in collaboration with the National Applicable Economic Research Council (NCAER), provides direct access to the entire ‘database’ classified in five regions of the states i.e. demographics, economic structure, fiscal, health and education.
Will also provide information about fiscal landscape
According to the news, NITI Aayog said in a statement that in addition, it will also provide information about the large and fiscal scenario of 28 Indian states, which will be based on demographics, economic structure, socio-economic and fiscal indicators. The platform shows the state’s fiscal and economic dashboard representing the ‘graphical’ of the major Economic Variables over time. Also, the data provides immediate access to additional information through unprotected data or summary tables through the appendix.
Access until 30 years of broad database
The state is based on extensive research on important aspects of fiscal policy and financial management at the state and state and national levels. This will act as the central store of information, which will provide access to the wider ‘database’ of social, economic and fiscal indicators of the last 30 years. Taking advantage of historical trends and real-time analysis, users will be able to find out the development, identify emerging methods and create evidence-based policies for development.
