There is a possibility of delay in departure and arrival of flights due to fog at Prayagraj and other airports including Chennai, Tiruchirappalli and Tirupati. Airline companies have alerted the passengers about this and advised them to keep checking the flight status. Budget airline SpiceJet has alerted passengers that all departures/arrivals and their resulting flights may be affected due to poor visibility at Prayagraj (IXD). Passengers are requested to keep track of their flight status.
Indigo cautioned
According to the news, the country’s largest airline Indigo has also warned about the flights this week. IndiGo has said that we expect fog to remain in Chennai, Tiruchirappalli and Tirupati till the middle of next week, due to which our flight schedules have been affected. We recommend checking your flight status on our website or app before leaving for the airport to stay updated about any changes.
