Thousands of apps will be removed from Play Store

Google believes that these apps can be malware sources.

Aadhaar card will be updated for free
The government body that issues Aadhaar cards is Unique Identification Authority of India. UIDAI The deadline for updating Aadhaar card for free has been extended to 14 September 2024, which was earlier 14 June 2024.
In such a situation, if your Aadhaar card is 10 years old, then you can update it for free before 14 September. However, free Aadhaar card update will be done through My Aadhaar portal. If you update Aadhaar by visiting Aadhaar Center, then you will have to pay Rs 50 as service charge. Users can enjoy the facility of free Aadhaar update only in online mode.
How to update your Aadhaar card
0 First of all you have to visit the official website of UIDAI myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/.
0 After this, you will see the option of Update Aadhaar at the top, which you have to tap on.
0 Then you have to login to the portal by entering your 10 digit Aadhaar number and OTP.
0 Then you have to verify by clicking on document update.
0 Scan of identity card and address proof has to be uploaded in the drop down menu.
0 After this you will have to click on the Submit button. A request number will be generated for you.
0 After this you will be able to check the status of Aadhaar Update.
There will be a delay in receiving OTP
TRAI has given instructions to curb fake calls and messages from September 1. Under this, telecom companies like Airtel, Vodafone-Idea, Jio and BSNL will have to identify and block unregistered messages and calls. A deadline of September 30, 2024 has been given for this.
In such a situation, some mobile users may face delay in receiving banking calls, messages and OTP from September 1. TRAI has given instructions to block messages containing URL, OTT link, APK (Android Application Package), or call-back number from September 1, 2024.
In such a situation, if you do online banking or OTP based payment or delivery, then you may face a delay in receiving the OTP, in such a situation you may face problems in work like online payment, online shopping.
