New Delhi. Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani recently talked about work-life balance during an interview. He said that if a person enjoys the work he is doing, for example, if a person spends four hours at home and enjoys it, then he has work-life balance. Similarly, if a person spends eight hours at home, then he said in a joking tone, if you spend eight hours at home, your wife will run away.

Adani said that work-life balance is a matter of personal choice. In this, my views cannot be imposed on you and your views cannot be imposed on me. He said that for work-life balance, it is very important for one to enjoy one’s work. If this does not happen then there can never be work-life balance. Adani said, when you do work of your choice, there are more chances of success. He said that for us it is either family or work. There is no other world besides ours. Our children also grow up seeing this and adopting it.

He said, a person’s character and humility are most important. Apart from these two things, all other things including property are cosmetic. He said that every person eats the same things. Whatever you eat, I also eat. As far as money is concerned, you can ensure that how it can be used to bring about change in the society. Everyone is in the journey of life, no one is meant to live permanently and whoever understands this, his life becomes easier.
