Puri, 28 June (IANS). Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani along with wife Preeti Adani and son Karan Adani took part in the annual Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, Odisha on Saturday.
Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra is one of the most prestigious religious festivals in India.
Adani family joined a group of devotees gathered for the grand procession of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra and participated in rituals associated with this sacred occasion.
He also worshiped the chariot along with prayer in the holy journey.
Adani Group has launched its ambitious ‘Prasad Seva’ initiative in Puri Dham, which aims to provide clean and nutritious food to the devotees visiting the religious city Puri for the Rath festival.
Millions of pilgrims from across the country have gathered in Puri to see the Rath Yatra and participate in it.
Gautam Adani wrote on the social media platform ‘X’ on Friday, “By the immense grace of Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath ji, we have got the privilege of service in the holy rath yatra of Puri Dham. This divine journey starting today is the moment when God himself comes among his devotees.
He further wrote that on this virtuous occasion, the Adani family is dedicated to full devotion and reverence to serve millions of devotees. Every devotee gets a clean, nutritious and love served food, with this resolution, we have started ‘Prasad Seva’ in Puri Dham. It is a matter of great pride and satisfaction for me and for the entire Adani family to join this virtuous land of Puri.
The post finally wrote, “I pray that the grace of Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath ji should always remain on all of us. Male service, Narayan is service and service is Sadhana. Jai Jagannath.”
